Long visit in the German capital

Berlin has long been on my wish-to-see destinations in Europe and when I set aside some bucks I decided to fulfill that dream and go to some good friends who I haven’t seen for more than twelve months. I’d my plane tickets and booked a Berlin apartment that was smallish in space, but designed with all comforts – simply everything I needed for a restful vacation.

As I arrived in an early Friday morning hours and my local freinds were at the office until the late hours, I’d some time on my own. I put my suitcases at the apartment in Berlin I’ve arranged and spent the hours purchasing. My Berlin holiday accommodation was set very near to a few pleasant stores and different stores. Almost all of the dresses I bought yet were from the Tauentzienstrasse where I ran across stores of Adidas and Nike, Zara and Esprit, etc. There I visited also the KaDeWe department store which is the greatest of this category in Berlin.

I then went down the Friedrichstrasse where I entered many retail stores, and had a stroll along the Unter den Linden street. I had a short rest on the Gendarmenmarkt zone where I had my lunch break at one of the outdoor cafes located there. In the afternoon I went to the shopping area in the upper section of Alexanderplatz.

As you have guessed, I was already exhausted from the shopping and all the hand bags, so I went back to my Berlin apartment and had a nap, before I met my friends for a few beers in the centre of the city. They were very joyful to see me and I was excited too, so we stayed for many long hours and still had what to talk about. They send me off with a taxi to my Berlin accommodation and we decided to see each other again throughout the following days.
